WWE Money in the Bank 2020 is fast approaching. I tell you how and where to bet on MITB, then share the top betting sites, odds, and my predictions.

This year the Money in the Bank matches will take place at the same time at WWE Headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut. The event will be on May 10th and we share our best bets to win each briefcase.

Six superstars will literally climb the corporate ladder on each match. The action will begin on the ground floor of WWE Headquarters and the superstars need to make it to the roof, climb a ladder in the ring and grab the briefcase at the top to win. The briefcase contains a contract that allows them to challenge a champion of their choice, anytime, anywhere in the next calendar year.

The current Money in the Bank card looks like this:

Sunday, May 10th

Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match

Looking at the field for this year’s Men’s Money in the Bank match, two names come to mind as strong candidates to win the briefcase: Aleister Black and King Corbin.

Black is a former NXT Champion and he’s very popular because of his character and in-ring skills but he hasn’t done much since getting called up to the “main roster.”

Corbin won the Men’s Money in the Bank match in 2017 but he unsuccessfully cashed in on Jinder Mahal at an episode of SmackDown, when a distraction from John Cena allowed Mahal to roll him up.

A lot has changed since then and while Corbin hasn’t been pushed to a championship reign yet, he has had significant air time for a while and his heel character having the briefcase makes sense. Opportunistic heels make for great Money in the Bank winners and WWE might consider giving him the win to make up for his unsuccessful attempt almost three years ago.

I get why many view Black as the winner and he would be my choice but waiting for the right time to surprise a champion and take advantage of a bad situation is something that doesn’t suit his character.

Bryan and Mysterio don’t need to win this match. Otis is in a big storyline with Mandy Rose that has nothing to do with chasing a championship. AJ Styles won a Gauntlet Match on the May 4th episode of Raw and he will be Apollo Crews’ replacement.

Styles is the best wrestler in the world, deserves the push and winning the briefcase makes sense for his current heel persona. I get why AJ Styles is the favorite and I really want him to win but the value is on Corbin at +800 betting odds.

Don’t forget that for some reason Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura are on Corbin’s side as of late. I wouldn’t be surprised if they get involved and help him win. Again, my favorite wrestler of all-time is AJ Styles. I’ve been a fan since his TNA days and I want him to win but the price on Corbin is too good to pass up. I will also put some money on Styles but my official play for this article is Corbin.

Pick: King Corbin+800atBetOnline

Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match

Shayna Baszler should be the Raw Women’s Champion by now. I just don’t get her booking since joining Raw. First, she is built like an unstoppable monster, destroying everyone in the Elimination Chamber before losing to Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 36 after less than 10 minutes and now she’s “winning” her matches by making sure that her opponents can’t continue.

The same reason why I didn’t pick Black to win is why I didn’t pick Baszler to get the briefcase here. It just doesn’t suit her character. Nia Jax lacks wrestling skills and is a danger in the ring, she should not be getting a push. Dana Brooke still has a long way to go and she has to develop her character more.

Carmella already won this match in 2017 and WWE hasn’t pushed her significantly since. As for Asuka, she doesn’t need the win. Lacey Evans has been in the title picture at Raw and SmackDown for a while and she should finally get a real opportunity at the top. I can see WWE giving the win to Baszler or even a returning Ronda Rousey but Lacey Evans is the best bet here at plus money betting odds.

Pick: Lacey Evans +450atBetOnline
